Sheep heads are the brainchild of the very talented Pat Souder, who uses little looms in ways I would have never dreamed. (Her jewelry and accessories can be found at Allie Coosh in Dallas.) I’m sure Pat knocked out this idea in about thirty seconds. The other sheep is a baby toy that I made using both Weavette rectangles and a 2″ square. The trick for using bulky, wooly yarn? Wrap two layers with the bulky yarn. Wrap the third layer and needle-weave with a thinner, smooth, color-matched yarn.
Debbie (crochtlady) got a handle on the dishcloth idea by avoiding the seams entirely. She used a 6″ Weavette and the “Smocking” (Loomette #4) pattern, and added a double crochet border. Worsted weight cotton. It’s a bit larger than 7″ square. This is a great nubby texture for dishcloths. Thanks, Debbie!

I am just amazed at what can be done with weave-its! The only thing I ever made was afghans. When I get done with all my current projects I will try some of these new things. Thanks for all the great ideas.
